who went?

i did. it was amazing. no 30 seconds over tokyo, but that's ok. it's easily one of the best shows i've seen in a while.

I thought about going...until I bought their new album. I love me some classic Pere Ubu from the old days, but their new album sucks so bad, and I figured that that's mostly the stuff they would be playing. Plus, I'll be seeing them on the 27th in AtL with our Features. I figure that will be sufficient.

Relevant: Prince, PT Anderson, Punk, Post-Punk, Purple, Party of Five, Peter Swanson, Peter Gabriel-led Genesis, "Peter Panic", Paul's Boutique, Potential Energy, Every Features MB member but me.

You know you have problems, with both money and alcohol, when you find yourself shoving beers down your pants outside a Features show.

Can I say something? I think that I need to apologize to Mr. Thomas and the rest of Pere Ubu. Their new album is starting to grow on me. Isn't it funny how that happens sometimes? Sometimes you like an album immediately, and sometimes it takes several listens.
