i hate it when people give maladroit bad reviews, which is almost every one i read. it's better than the green album, and before you people start, yes yes yes, i know the blue and pinkerton are the best two, but still, does anyone have the rough demo-maladroit?? about 7 tracks on it are actually better than the one that was released in stores.
i hate it when people knock marcy playground, too. they're great. the new album's gonna be reaaal good.
i also hate it when i run out of drugs, money, and essentially, drugs.
i hate it when people stop liking a band because they get even somewhat famous, and soley for that reason. god forbid a band step out of obscurity, and start charging for their one inch buttons.

i'm deathly allergic to cats.
i hate it when people lie to me about drugs.

seems to be a common thread (no pun intended) here on this board that people are obsessed with stupid boys and drugs.

I can't stand people who:
-Don't turn right on red
-Get in the left lane and go slower than the other drivers in the right lane.
-Type in all capital letters
-Talk behind other people's backs
-Hit me in the face (I suppose we share that pet peeve, stalker on skates)

i hate it when people go to stores or go out to eat, and when they pay their bill they put the money on the counter as opposed to handing it to the cashier. That's so amazingly rude. (I'm sure at least half of you people do this, and just don't realize how rude it is)

I also hate people that cancel plans at the last minute. Don't make plans if you're going to break them. When you make you plans, you're committing yourself to that and it should be your #1 priority unless there is an emergency.

I work at a grocery store as a manager, but I have to cashier sometimes. And, I HATE that too. I have actually made people pick their money up off of the register and hand it to me. I love pissing people off by making them realize how rude (or dumb in some cases) they are.

When I was a cashier, I would just put their change back on the counter if they put their money on the counter.

Another pet peeve: Cell phones. Hang up the cell phone when you're driving. Turn it off when you're out to eat. Oh, and never talk on it when you're at a cash register. Essentially, you're doing business, and you would not have the audacity to talk on a phone during a business meeting or if you were with a client.

this is a good topic.
i hate it when i'm trying to find something to give someone and they just hold out their hands in anticipation, even though they know good and damn well i can't find it immediately. i hate it when people pick food off of my plate.
i hate getting into arguments with guys in their mid 30s over how beelzebub is spelled.
i hate it when people get onto me...man.

I hate modern stupid trashy youth culture.. Screw all those kids!
I also am not fond of fruit flies.
I hate how some Cds play in some CD players but not in others.
I also don't like shaving.
I hate mindless suburban expansion.. build up not out!
I hate SUV's.. more public transportation!
I don't like it how you've got to prove yourself to the world to get anywhere, like how it's all about who you know not what you know. Us quiet kids get left behind. sad.gif
That is all.
I also don't like grapefruit juice.

hate leads to anger, anger leads to fear, and fear is the path of the dark side.

but things i hate are:
the teeth brushing into orange juice effect
being out of town for the my tyger show
when everybody forgets it's your birthday
people who pressure me about things, and i gotta say take a valium and calm the hell down

winona ryder

i heard she's dating jack white.  she's a fucking rock slut. almost all of the rock stars she's dated have slipped away, not that many of them were any good, but god. and dave grohl, he may be a rock star, but as his girlfriend you would have to look at him and shit. ew ew ew. as much as i've loved her in the past, i hate her now.  and i KNOW that julian casablanca/ bono talk stuff was bullshit.  she didn't get upset because julian offended the u2 fan that she is.  she was sad because she tried to get with him and he blew her off.  not that julian is any better, his girlfriend is only his girlfriend because she looks exactly like debbie harry, but whatever.

Another pet peeve, threads that stray from their original topic.

Speaking of taping things, I was wondering if the Dancin' oulaw copies were still being offered. I would like a copy of the director's cut and the Hollywood sequel, if that is possible. StephanieW, I think this is your territory.

Yes, that was my latest frustration.  How did you know that? I'm surprised *your* CBS affiliate didn't break in for storm coverage. I mean, after all, there was a severe thurnderstorm watch in north Mississippi...

I can get both for you. And, I am making bman a copy too, I believe. The last few times I have gone to the library, it has been checked out. So, I will go back tomorrow and finally have one reserved. Feel free to email me at stephaniew_17@yahoo.com to tell me your address and all that. Postage is on me. It's no big deal.  Any way to share Jesco has my full dedication and support. And, bman, just let me know if you want the sequel as well. Anyone else want in? Just let me know. I personally know that I can never get enough of the Dancing Outlaw.

I just thought of a pet peeve. I hate it when people come to the store that I work in and complain about how this or that was bagged incorrectly. Or this cashier was rude...blah blah. I just get them to go to that person, and tell them. Because I can't make people act differently. And, my job is to count money, not hear the complaints that my store manager pushes off on me.
Oh, and calling when you say you are going to. It drives me crazy if you say you will and never do. That has always bugged the hell out of me.

Well thats a little different than what the majority complain about here. 'You put my bread on TOP of my eggs? It needs to have a bag alone.' Tell me the logic in that. The bread IS NOT flattened due to the fact that it is on top of something else that has to be treated gently too.
Alright. I am just ranting about work since I closed the store last night. Overlook me.

someone made mention of pet peeves particular to their job. so here are mine:
when someone pays with a hundred dollar bill, and tips 10%
when people ask for like 10 things special made and thent he cooks yell at me
when people yell at me bc their food is taking too long (like im the fucking back cooking it myself)
snapping.

ok thats it for now, just wanted to add a little more.
also, 'when people mistake my brutal honesty for bitchiness' that 's a good call. thanks for saying that.
