I was always a Brokaw guy myself, but you had to admire and respect Peter Jennings. We've witnessed an end of an era here, folks.

Network news is no longer the first place we turn to for breaking news, and the retirement of Brokaw, the step down of Rather and now the death of Jennings is the final toll on a once sterling bell. It kind of makes me sad.

I watched a piece about Peter Jennings on NPT last night. I was amazed to learn that he was self-educated and never finished high school. I will definately miss him.

He was always my favorite of the big three. This is very sad news.

I was sorta surprised at how sadden I was by his passing.

One of the only things I remember on September 11th.....I turned Peter Jennings off at 9 am to go to work and then again at like 11 pm to go to bed. I remember him looking so tired, stressed, and distressed, but he'd sat there all day.
