New tour dates are posted, and once again the Flaming Lips are bypassing Nashville. Some of us can't easily make road trips to Asheville. Grrr...

Yeah, I had to fly to Cleveland to see them with Beck last October. It was worth the trip, but dammit, come to Nashville! I believe I've seen them 2 of the 3(?) times they've been here (both at 328-- R.I.P.). The first, they were opening for Tool in 94 (?) and the second was to promote the Soft Bulletin. Amazing. I think they'd do a good job of filling up the Ryman. Or maybe somewhere at MTSU or something...

They even did Uptown Mix and that was FREE--it rocked! Maybe there will be more tour dates in summer, but I'm pissed at them for now.

oh yes thank you wayne coyne and god and jesus! i get to see the lips again in asheville!!!! and the mutha fuckin' blooze explosion the week before. it's nice living close to such a hip town.

You know you have problems, with both money and alcohol, when you find yourself shoving beers down your pants outside a Features show.
