what's your favorite delivery?
papa john's, pizza hut, or domino's?
papa john's is the best.

1.  Pizza Hut
2.  Papa John's
3.  Domino's

But I will take Pizza Perfect, Michaelangelo's, or DaVinci's (all Nashville local places) over any of those three.

Pizza Hut thin crust is the best, although most people don't like pizza hut. Papa John's is too sweet, I like spicy pizza. Little Caesars is really good and realy cheap. Their veggie pizza is awesome, they use whole tomatoes on it. Do you guys have Little Caesars in Tennessee?

Little Caesar's once dominated the pizza landscape in Tennessee.  (Well, at least in East Tennessee anyway.)  I don't think they're around here anymore, though.

I vote for Obie's as the best pizza place in Nashville.  (There's also one in Franklin, but it's not as good.)  Next time you go to The End or The Exit/In to see the Features, do yourself a favor and go have dinner at Obie's.

Tom - it's interesting that you should mention Obie's, because I have say that I think Obie's is about the *worst* pizza in Nashville that I have had - and I *love* Chicago-style pizza.  Obie's used to be great a few years ago, but I have had nothing but bad exeriences there in the last couple of years. What do you order there?

papa john's out of those three. used to love little caesars, but they have gone downhill. i like some jc locals: crazy tomato, vitos, italian pizza pub and bucks. tomato head and digenovas in knoxville rule. hate pizza hut and dominos. so what is your fav pizza? i love pineapple and chicken on mine. man im hungry...

Since pizza is my all-time favorite food, this topic appeals to me. Alright, I am with exliontamer. I'm all about Papa John's. We have one about 2 minutes away from where I live, and they deliver until about 1:00 am. So, the insomniacs like myself get real pleasure out of that.
As for Nashville goes, I have eaten at a place called Bosco's that I was told had great pizza, but I ended up going during brunch and having strawberry waffles. So, I can't confirm that rumor.
Now, HeyItsBriggs, there is actually a Little Caesars in Erwin, TN, which is about 20 minutes from where I live. It's where I grew up. As for Little Caesars in JC, I don't know of any, but I could easily be mistaken. But, yeah, they do still exist. They are just very sparse.
To Tom Foolery, I ate pizza from a home-owned place in Franklin when I stayed a little over a month ago. How many of those are there in Franklin? I can't remember the name, but I am sure that if I heard it, I would remember.

I am from Richmond, Virginia but I go to school at MTSU. I have no family in Johnson City or anywhere in Tennssee. I was born in New Jersey. I have cousins from Scotland. My dad lives in Maryland. I could spell 'Czechoslovakia' when I was in 2nd grade, I did a report on it. I went to summer school at NYU in New York City one summer. I've toured with a band from North Carolina to New York. I went to Disney World in Florida when I was in 1st grade. My friend wants to go to grad school in Seattle in a few years and wants me to move there with her. That's about all the locations I can think of related to me.

I like extra cheese on my pizza. If there is any type of 6-cheese (Bosco's) or 7-cheese (12th & Porter) option, I will usually get that. I love cheese pizza.

My favorite pizza in the world is Sir Pizza. I grew up on the stuff. Its my entire family's favorite one. It kicks my ass every time I get it. Preferablly a King's Feast (all meat) w/ extra cheese. The meat is just literally falling off of it. It is expensive, but its a good treat

I've been jonesing as of late for cafeteria pizza, I have no idea why....maybe its the aesthetically pleasing shape of a rectangle that does it, or maybe nostalgia. I have been asking people to bully me in the playground recently.

I love cheese on my pizza, too.  But I always feel cheated when I order extra cheese because I know they only put, like, two extra shreds on there.  The only time I've ever had a pizza and thought, 'Mmmm... this pizza has plenty of cheese,' was the one time that I made it myself.

That makes me wonder... would Easy Cheese be good on pizza???

Hmm. Easy Cheese. I don't think that would make for a great topping on pizza. But, I wouldn't know. I've never tried it. American or Sharp Cheddar?

When you buy shredded cheese, there are sharp and regular kinds. The regular kinds are called 'mild cheddar'. You all can come to me with the grocery-related questions. Sadly enough, I could probably tell you the different manufacturers and price variances, too. I'm a sad, sad grocery store manager.

Lately we've been buying Swiss cheese (individually wrapped slices) for our sandwiches instead of the traditional American cheese singles. We usually just get the Food Lion brand. Can you recommend another brand... preferably one that has holes in the slices like Swiss cheese does in the cartoons?

Hm. The biggest chance you have to get swiss cheese with holes in the slices would be to go to the deli and ask for them to slice some for you. Or, there are rectangles of it available from Kraft and Borden that you can cut in half yourself to make the size of regular slices. They should be hanging in the same section as the shredded cheese. And, since you shop at Food Lion, I know for sure that is where it is.

A pizza I've always enjoyed and look forward to the 21st for is the 7 cheese pizza at 12th & Porter. I pick out the almonds, but it's good stuff.

since my loser boyfriend has worked every pizza chain in murfreesboro, i've had my fair share of pizza. i must say papa john's was my favourite. it's probably because their selection of toppings and the garlic sauce. cici's would be my favourite, but they changed their crust.
my favourite non chain in murfreesboro has got to be new york pizza cafe. i love their seafood pizza more than i love my mother.
and in nashville, wild oats' greek pizza is my favourite. which pizza place is near by christie cookie and gelato off of hillsboro rd.? they're good, too.

I really like Nashville Pizza Company. I know where both Pie in the Sky and Old New York Pizzeria are located, but I've never had the chance to eat there. Old NY is only open for lunch so it's kinda hard to get in.

I've been to that CD Warehouse before, but as a general rule, I don't like CD Warehouse. It just seems way too commercial to me. If I want to go to a record store on a sunny afternoon, I'll usually make the drive to Phonoluxe. That place rocks my world!!!

Guido's is good for a change every once in a while, but it's not nearly my favorite. But sometimes it's just good to have a piece of super-greasy thin crust pizza and a Coke. The ownership/management of Guido's seems to change about every 6 months, but the pizza always tastes the same.
