There is a huge body of evidence to support the notion that me and the police were put on this earth to do extremely different things and never to mingle professionally with each other, except at official functions, when we all wear ties and drink heavily and whoop it up like the natural, good-humored wild boys that we know in our hearts that we are..These occasions are rare, but they happen— despite the forked tongue of fate that has put us forever on different paths....

That's really unfortunate, Keith. I can often be found doing 55 on Charlotte Avenue, especially at night. So I guess I'd better check myself.

And yes, "So Lonely" is awesome.

i spent half of last year in traffic court. everything was dropped, but i wasted a whole bunch of fucking time kickin it in traffic court being pissed. after the second time i decided that serpas is indeed a punk bitch.

In fairness, it was the downtown section of Charlotte, and apparently I was going 45 in a 30, but still. I always thought Charlotte was a 40 throughout.

Also, if you ask a cop "don't you know who I am? haven't you looked at The Scene this week?!?" it doesn't work.
