I downloaded a Presidents of the United States of America bootleg a while back and just recently started listening to it. I have to say I enjoy it very much. It's pretty good quality, good songs, funny guys. What more could one want from a bootleg?

I must admit that i did enjoy P.U.S.A back when i was in middle school, i even liked it enough to buy the album. unfortunately, i sold it to cd warehouse in madison this summer along with about half of my cd collection because of extreme lack of funds...

I never much cared for this band. The catchiness of their songs can get to me.

I like the singability of "Peaches", but sharing a last name with the title of that song makes it wear thin faster than others because people kept singing it around me when I was in high school.
I can't grow a beard, and I don't like to party.

i loved that band! i wanted to go see them on their last tour in 97 but i got a C on my reprt card and my parents wouldn't let me. they felt really bad after they broke up..........
We have about 1500 songs.....all of them good!

is it true that their bass player's bass only has 2 strings and the guitar's guitar only has 4? a very reliable source ie big fan of the band and music snob told me this. i thought that was way cool.

I believe they claimed to have a 3-string guitar, 2-string bass, and no string drums. I appreciated them at the time, but they didn't really offer anything enduring. I think their second album flopped, but they released another album on a minor label a few years ago.
