right now I am taking a break from what has got to be the most boring thing ever, pressure washing. If you dont know what it is, here's a brief descripton for my case. A pressure washer I guess you can basically figure out what that is, but for the dense out there it's a little machine that sprays out watter at high velocities to clean scum off of stuff. I am having to take this and clean off crap slowly on the patio behing my house, but luckily we have speaker outside hooked up to a stereo inside so I can listen to The Features while doing this. And yes I was stupid enough to test how high of pressure it has and put a small indention in my thumb. But i was wondering if anyone else has had to take part is this horrible.....thing?

If you are really good at it, MTSU is always looking for good pressure-washers.

Never pressure washed before but I'm sure there is something you can do to make it more fun! This is coming from the girl who optionally cleaned out her entire shower for an hour and a half yesterday. I'm far from a neat freak but every once in a while I get some sort of OCD attack or something and I really get into the mood to clean. This happens very rarely so when it hit yesterday I was sure to take full advantage.
You're so fucking money you don't even know it

You could make a game of it! See how many square feet you can wash in an hour; then, try to break that record!

ahhh, using simpsons references that most people don't recognize and thereby making you seem funnier than you actually are. a habit i know all too well.
my point is that this topic title and subtitle are the best ever in messageboard history.

Forget the Features... you should be listening to Queen's "Under Pressure" while performing the chore. Optionally, you can mix in parts of "Ice Ice Baby."

Important Note: This is the first and last time I will advocate Queen.

Take pride and happiness in your menial labor. As many of you know, this past summer my LA internship with Mirimax fell through when I was unable to fly out for the final interview, and so I ended up in Chattanooga working at a factory. I'd routinely spend 9 hours a day working at a press where several little cylinders would be made per minute and I'd spend the sum of my time grabbing them as they came down the line and loading them neatly into trays.... no more, no less. That, my friends, is horrible work. Everytime the pressure washing gets you down, think of THAT sort of job and you'll feel better.

You may like grandma's yard gnomes, but I've seen Rock City. Remember it.

I hope this doesn't start a debate on whether or not Queen is good...because, face it, they are.
But what will happen to the boy when the circus comes to town?

Since I started it, I guess I should clarify. I don't really have anything against Queen. I put them in the same category that I put the Beatles: I don't bother them and they don't bother me. I'm not offended or repulsed by their music, but I don't particularly care for it either. And we all lived in happy harmony.

Oh TF, no. For so long I considered you relevant.

I've noted it before. TF is not a musical authority. I've just let him use his opinions to put himself down, rather than slamming him myself.

This is not the case for Digsy, who does not like The Simpsons.
