Well, maybe I approached it improperly. For one, I assumed, apparently incorrectly, that this movie was a documentary of radiohead as a band, not just of the ok computer tour. But there was hardly any narration or direction to the piece either... It leaves you wondering "what the hell is going on?" or "and the point of this is?" in many places. I also expected to learn something about the band by the time I finished watching. I did not.
and i don't mean that thom or anyone else in radiohead themselves whined... but that the movie portrayed the media so bastardly and the band as constantly worn and burnt out... It just left me feeling if they didn't like it so much, they were in a position where they had all the bargaining chips... they were at the pinnacle of success and without them the management, a&r, the label, wouldn't have it... so they could have called the shots if they were that unhappy... that's just how i felt at the end. i was thinking and feeling "don't expect me to feel sorry for you."
i've also only seen it once, so maybe a secondary viewing would be called for.

you're everybody's second home
always trying to get me alone
an easy way to lose it all
always there when all else fails
over by the west side rails
