My stomach churns at the thought of this.

But, after getting to work backstage at the 2004 CMA awards, I have to say that Kenny Chesney seemed like one of the nicer dudes there. Tim McGraw? Douche. Toby Keith? Infinite Douche. Big & Rich? Skeezy Douches. Kenny Chesney? Nice Douch who actually spent his time in his dressing room singing and practicing his song instead of toking it up with Willie Nelson like Toby Keith did (you know, right before he performed onstage with his daughter and won that award from the FBI for patriotism).

I have to listen to nu-country shit at work all the time. I'm sickened about how much I know about current country.

I dunno, I spent the actual show standing outside of Toby Keith, Jimmy Buffet, and Kenny Chesney's dressing room. I watched it on their TV but did not hear a thing.

I did hear Toby and his daughter singing their horrid rendition of "Mockingbird" during dress rehearsal. How did that get played on the radio? If I was an alien and all I knew of music was their "Mockingbird," I don't think I could every be verbally convinced that music was worthwhile.

Funny. I just watched Cold Mountain on Tuesday night.

How is that funny?

RZ is in the movie and if I'm not mistaken that's how she met JW. Some folks accused her of marrying KC while on the rebound from JW. I haven't heard much in the news at all about the marriage lately, but heard about this the day after I watched Cold Mountain (which I watched mostly out of curiosity about JW). I would say that's a pretty big coincidence. I find coincidences funny. Not "haha" funny or "queer" funny. Just funny.
