i have the biggest crush in the world on this boy and i can't stop listening to royal trux.
accelerator, thank you, sweet sixteen, cats and dogs, and

the back to school 7"
i think back to school is my favourite song ever. at least right now.

anyways,
what do you guys listen to when you fall in love or at least have those freaking butterflies in your stomach over someone of the opposite sex?
she's just another ho that i met in the hood

oh may i say that crushes tend to go in a bad direction for me, so i tend to listen to fiona apple and local H when I'm really diggin someone. other than that, any weezer record is good; they are nerds and know what its like to dig somebody, ozma - rock and roll part 3 is another good one that i have been listening to a lot lately. oh yeah and goldfinger's self titled album

but when its the GOOD kind of crush and you just wanna listen to happy music, the promise ring and the white stripes do it for me.

good luck with the crush... smile.gif
thank you for being a friend.

crush music is hard to define........it all depends on the person.

albums that helped me through the butterflies.......

goldfinger - self titled and hang-ups (they just rings "crush" plus they have alot of songs about relationships and getting screwed over)
the cure - head on the door
smashing pumpkins - siamese dream (this was the ultimate healer, i would just plug my guitar in and play along to the entire album!)
i also made ALOT of compilation tapes!
We have about 1500 songs.....all of them good!

Funny, I just suggested the pumplins for a similar thread... and I find The Cure to be just as good for this state.

Good suggestions. I know I can't add to 'em.

You may like grandma's yard gnomes, but I've seen Rock City. Remember it.

Good call with Big Star... I find myself singing along to "Ballad of El Goodo" on an almost daily basis; it's just a hell of a mood piece. "Thirteen" kicks ass too for crushes/broken hearts... #1 Record is one of my 'desert island discs.'
"Sugar, Mr. Poon?"
"No, never, never... thank you."

indeed, mr. thunder. big star was an amazing band. Their music is just simply beautiful. "i'm in love with a girl" will always hold a place in my heart....

awwww. i can't decide to be happy for happy people or grudgingly pass them off as worthless out of self- pity and jealousy.

this time, i'll be happy for you, but it won't last long... biggrin.gif

we're about to scrap.

washtub bass players make great lovers. especially ones that can spin their hat at the top while playing. or lovin'.

I don't know much about lovin', but wouldn't that get in the way?
