don't let your foresight and your hindsight become nimble vagrants in your imaginatory vagueness...
you're everybody's second home
always trying to get me alone
an easy way to lose it all
always there when all else fails

I surround myself with people who I feel comfortable talking to and who are willing to listen. smile.gif

I try to keep myself occupied. Get a new hobby or something. Sadness can seem overwhelming when you're sitting at home by yourself with nothing to do.
grass stains, airplanes, anything and everything

Maybe you shouldn't partake in depressants.

Time, I think, is a powerful healer. Sometimes you can't just snap your fingers and be happy. Some things just take time to deal with/get over.

I would encourage you to always try find and fix the root of the problem and not just put a bandage on the surface issues.

In my experience, true, lasting happiness only comes from God.

Booze.
and not just booze...lots of it. Then drink it.

Seriously, my answer to this is always to get in touch with old friends. Buying stuff for yourself can help the real lows as a temporary pick-me-up.

Writing can be very cathartic and helpful. Reading or watching movies can help you keep your mind off what's bothering you. However, as others have said, the best thing is usually to talk it out with someone you trust or just surround yourself with friends and people who love you.

I hope your sadness passes soon. sad.gif

When I feel depressed I just listen to the features. smile.gif If that doesn't work- booze may be a temporary fix, but it is only temporary. I think we are all insane though....every last one of us. Just figure out how to use it to your advantage...tailor it into productivity. Maybe take some karate lessons or something. ? ph34r.gif
I have always found comfort in talking to loved ones
