No? Are you telling the truth? How can this be? Is this true? Really? Really?

Token confirmed it in the scene. I'm going. I'm gonna get the recording stuff. I'm gonna get everything. I'm gonna....pass out. It's been over a year now.

And am I a bitch?

It seems to me that the first part provides an answer for the second. It would for me too, so I'm not pointing fingers.

Jamiecarroll, I am in debt to you.

I can no longer stand going to the Boro because it reminds me of all those great nights with that great band. I've missed them. Watching Seth Timbs play tonight made me feel like I can die a happy and complete man... or at least be content to wait a while before I see it again. My jones was filled. I got a great bootleg. He gave me a copy of the forthcoming record.

Bliss.

Now I have to try and get some sleep so that I can get up early and wrangle some bratty Nihilists all day at school tomorrow.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, YDDD. Sorry I didn't make it. I was just too sleepy when it was time to go. I do regret it.

I was wondering if there would be any "Features" people there. The only person that I recognized there was Matt Meeks.

Short, but very enjoyable. Seth only played about 6 songs - 4 on piano and 2 on guitar (I think?). His vocals were smooth as velvet and his piano playing was fantastic, as always. I really, really enjoy hearing him dominate the keyboard. Man, I wish I could play like that.

P.S. This is from the Slowbar website for Wednesday after the Tin Pan Shows: 3 members of Beulah in town mixing their new record with Roger Moutenot --- stopping by to play a few songs - Free

The new album has no definite release date. It, just like the Features' album, is one of those, "Don't hold you breath waiting for it" things. Seth has a better track record for getting his stuff released, but they've always been bogged down in red tape for many many months before release. This one will probably be the same way.

The show was great. Some stuff written in LA was played, and several of the Fl Oz songs from soon before Seth left were also played. He was just back for a few days and asked to do a solo set.

Self's album is feeling like this right now too.

My prediction:

Though Self's new album is only being recorded right now, it will be released befor either the Features or Fluid Ounces put out another one.

Probably a safe bet since we've recently learned that the Kampf sessions are only being used as demos and thus (presumably) there is still recording to begin for The Features.

Doesn't alter the nature of the curse.

Boo.

I think it's more the curse of the record industry than it is on Spongebath.
