TOPIC: Smut

I think "smut" is a funny word & I chuckled when I read this headline: "Wal-Mart Sells Anti-Smut DVD Player" (even though I don't agree with the philosophy behind it). It apparently filters out violence, language, sex/nudity and explicit drug use.

Reminds me of that line in Better off Dead: "what's a little boy like you doing with big boy smut like this?"
I plan to bring the word "smut" into my everyday conversation.

here's the link to the news story: http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...film_walmart_dc

Smut was the preferred word for pornography on my dorm floor. Excellent word indeed.

Wal-Mart has more money than most governments. I think that's weird. Smut, on the other hand.....
That's so NA.

1. I smile when I hear the words corn pone.

2. This article talks about ClearPlay CEO Bill Aho. This is funny in the article when it says, "According to Aho..." and "Aho said..."

3. Smut is a great word. I always think of a random episode of "Kate & Allie" where Jane Curtin discusses it with someone or other. It was a long time ago, but I know TF will know what I'm talking about.

4. I think a baseball bat up the corn pone was about the most disturbing piece of smut I've seen.

Really? I think it's a wonderful marriage between First Amendment liberties and capitalism. Hooray for America!

Did I do that? To my knowledge, the raunchiest story I have that involves corn has to do with a high school janitor threatening to cram a corn cob up my ass. And, as a rule of thumb, free smut is the best smut. I have no recollection of ever buying smut.

katie just likes alliteration. let's just call her smutty smee.
