Any thoughts on the whole myspace thing? I fought it as long as I could, just...not...strong....enough. JC is up there too, ya'll.

i tried the myspace thing for a day or so. i didn't have a picture of myself (as i don't have a scanner) and i didn't have much to say about myself, either, so it all seemed kind of pointless. i guess if you have actual friends it isn't, but there wasn't anything going on with mine...my own reticence and introversion are likely to blame for that, as usual.

i enjoyed your profile, luke--it was very reflective of you, and you didn't need the disclaimer at all...it was as witty and effusive as any i've seen. i had trouble with that part of it, especially. it seems i have nothing to say about myself.

does anybody have a picture of me and a scanner? or just a scanner and the willingness to help me out?

I, too, find it hard to find pictures of myself. I like to mock friendster/myspace/ et al, but it's kind of fun. I get freaked out by friend requests from people I don't know, though, especially when they live in my town.

Aight ya'll i need your help. So apparently I was put on the "cool new people" section and now i'm getting like 2 dozen requests a day to be friends and other messages. One of them told me it was on the "cool new people" thing and man i was pissed. I just want to meet chicks in Nashville, not Pigsnuckle Arkansas. All of the messages/requests have been from girls except for one from a gay guy and one from a tranny. So I guess thats not a bad thing. But man I feel bad deleting the messages or whatever. I mean it's kind of like writing off someone's entire existence with the click of a mouse, right? So is it bad form to delete/deny messages from people from who knows where? What if they seem to be really cool and you have a lot in common? There have been a few like that and I'm really torn.

What do you girls do? I'm sure girls get tons of horny dorks trying "be friends" or whatever. How many do you delete a day? How many do you keep?
