so since i made the very clever rule about no solo artisst in the favorite band of all time category, im making one for solo artists especially. smake rules apply - no honorable mentoins, no top three . .. just ONE/.

mine, hands down, goes to tori amos, hence the MB gear smile.gif

I have to go with BOB DYLAN, tho NEIL YOUNG is close behind. Yes, I know it's predictable, but you can't argue with greatness, can you?

I'm not gonna say best of all time. My current favorite is Elliott Smith (I'm finally coming around on this guy due to a live recording I found). Ben Folds is the perrenial favorite as well (but I very much prefer the BFF stuff).

This is too difficult.

Paul McCartney would, of course, be my choice, but I don't know if he qualifies or not since he was not originally a solo artist......? John Lennon would be my backup, but he falls into this same category.....?

Then, if neither of those are okay, Bowie would be my backup....or Fiona Apple. I'm sorry, I can't say for sure. I'm too indecisive. wink.gif
