TOPIC: Someone to record a demo?

Does anyone know of someplace or someone who can record and mix a 3 song demo for a reasonable price? It's a simple setup of guitar, bass, drums, and vocals. I know a lot of board members are in bands, so if you guys have anyone you can refer me to I'd appreciate it. Just looking for an alternative to dropping the bank on studio time, you know?

Thanks!

Dude,
go to MTSU campus, hang out in the Mass Comm building near Studio A preferrably, and talk to people walking in and out of that recording studio. Get it done for free. Hopefully if they are using the Studer D-950 digital console, they half way know what they are doing and can give you a decent demo.

Here's The Link to the Facilities at MTSU. Finding someone that can take the time and do a good job, may be harder, but the best time to show up is late at night, say 2 or 3 in the morning. This is when the Mass Comm building is at its best.

Me too. Although this guydoes awesome work, too. He's also ridiculously reasonably priced and a really swell, professional guy to boot.

I'd never heard of Lake Fever. Thanks for the info.

I've actually spoken to Zach a couple times - we both lived in Indiana at the same time and I had seen his old band several years ago. Small world indeed.
