TOPIC: Son of Sting

UK pop-punk band Fiction Plane will be at the Blue Sky Court on Tuesday, March 4 for only $5 as reported by the Rage. The band is fronted by Joe Sumner, who is the son of Sting. No, not the popular WCW wrestler of the 90's, but the pop-icon Sting. I thought this to be worth a mention. If nothing stops us, Brother Love, PaulFreaksMeOut, and I will be there to check the "live reputation" of this band.

i dont know what to think of this band.......i think it would be better if the guy were in fact the son of Sting (the wrestler). If this were true then he would more than likely give the opening band the stinger splash, and lock in the scorpion deathlock......end of story.

Hahaha, and maybe they could be lowered from the ceiling before the show.

Ok ok ok, pay zero attention to all thoughts of going to this show! You should instead go to the Muse and see Forget Cassettes. It is in your best interest. Please trust me. And I don't know who is opening for Fiction Plane, but it's in the Rage I think. However, it doesn't matter, because you will instead be at the Muse, strategically located next to the World's Largest Adult Bookstore. Got it?

Fickleness is not something that I shy from when a better opportunity arrives.

I did. It was good. Some songs blew me away. I'll probably even buy their cd when it comes out the 11th. Really the only problems i had with the night were the opening bands (Train and Butt-rock, my apologies to anyone who takes a liking to either) and Joe Sumner aka Son of Sting kept lapsing into a country accent as if he had never been around southerners before. His British accent was much more charming, as if I had never been around Brits before. He moved like his dad when he sang, but was a lot dorkier, and sings like his dad, although he manipulates his voice most of the time to make it edgier. Very powerful music and melodies, sometimes heroic. Enough out of me.
