So fate led me to be in the wrong lunch yesterday when the milk man came by carrying a cart of STRAWBERRY MILK! I just started freakin out right there in the lunch line. I haven't had that stuff since I was five and we used to have to buy the syrup and make it ourselves. But now Purity makes it! And its verrry good, especially for fat free milk unlike that fat free chocolate milk SHIT we have had in cafeterias since forever. Anyways, I was wanting to let everyone know that I am going to finally be getting my calcium now (yay maybe I will grow) and was wondering if anyone else has had it?

I have always liked strawberry milk. When I was in elementary school in Sumner county, we drank milk out of little clear plastic pouches that we had to stab with our straws in order to drink out of. It was quite interesting and I have not heard of any other place having these milk pouches.

Heh heh, they looked like breast implants. I'll never forget when they implemented those in fourth grade.

i don't know what it is, but i've always felt that there was something strange about strawberry milk. it's not that i don't like it...i think it tastes fine. i just feel odd when i drink it...like the government is watching me or something. just one of those weird things, i guess...

i kinda know what you mean. it just seems so unnatural. i mean, i guess it is. but i do agree on feeling weird drinking it.

i need to chill out with how much im drinking though. it tastes really good but i think the past couple days i liked it more because i was so excited to see it. its great, but i can see myself getting sick of it fast.

lol I remember when the first day that we had those things lol people poked straight to the bottom of them and there was freaking milk all over our tables. I always thought that those things brought out the killer in ya.. just stabbing away at them.

but back to the subject of strawberry milk.. that's soooo gooood. Like I can almost equate drinking that with getting back my income tax lol rolleyes.gif

I've always thought it was strange that I absolutely adore strawberries but do not care for strawberry milk. I love chocolate milk more than just about any other beverage though. I seriously cannot drink regular milk without gagging. yuck.

Oh, and I was never a fan of the bagged milk at school. The chocolate milk just did not taste good when being sucked from plastic bags that were almost always wet on the outside from other bags having leaked onto them.

One of my favorite tricks is to make stawberry milk at IHOP. Just order a glass of milk and mix in the stawberry syrup that's on the table. It works pretty well and is quite good... especially when you get to the bottom of the glass.

i've seen someone (who was lactose intolerant) order water with whipped cream on top, mix it all together, and pretend it was milk. she *said* that it was good.
