That's them. They're from Knoxville if you count that as local. The Features opened for them about a year ago, I think, and they pass through quite a bit. They played Dancin' in the District in June with Cake and I think they just played in Clarksville with Silent Friction. William Tyler of Character/Lifeboy/Lambchop/Guns and Roses fame played guitar for them for a year or two.
I TOTALLY AGREE!

Keith, you are destined to rock. Never forget this.

Superdrag is really good. More than just "sucked out." What I've heard of their latest album actually hasn't attracted me much, but "In the Valley Of Dying Stars," from a few years ago, is a really really great album. Good old fashioned rock music.

This year? No that I know of. Actually, not any year that I know of. You have to pay to play there, and I don't think that the Features would be down with that.
Relevant: Prince, PT Anderson, Punk, Post-Punk, Purple, Party of Five, Peter Swanson, Peter Gabriel-led Genesis, "Peter Panic", Paul's Boutique, Potential Energy, Every Features MB member but me.

GNR was a joke. Keith did forget Silver Jews, though.

Did anyone catch the 'Drag on Conan last week. They were good. I was flipping through the channels and saw John and was like wait a minute, thats the Conan O'Brien set! I about shit my pants.
