Thanksgiving is coming up. Does anyone have plans for the holiday? Any special Thanksgiving traditions?

I'm going with YaDaDa to see Ron Foolery and DoDaDDa. We'll eat turkey and fall asleep watching football. There will also be a niece and nephew to play with.

We're are heading to Detroit, Rock City, tonight. Driving while, hopefully, the Peace Polliwog snoozes away in milk induced bliss. If not, there's always ruphy laced 'tussin'.

Our holiday tradition is trying not to pack up and leave before Monday.

I wonder what FeaturesTroll is doing for Thanksgiving.

This will be my first thanksgiving with my entire immediate family in years. I'm...nervous.

eep me too! and i'm nervous :/ nobody on my moms side is even talking, this won't be an awkward thanksgiving at all...

I'll be working at Books-a-Million on Thanksgiving. My dad's side does turkey eating on Saturday, to avoid all the other commitments. Since we don't really get along with most of my Mom's side, Thursday is free.

I'm just excited about being able to listen to Christmas music. Now if it'd only get consistently colder....

I'm spending the whole week with my beautiful girlfriend for Thanksgiving. So far, we drove to Atlanta to see De novo Dahl, got a jacuzzi room at the Doubletree, went beach camping on Edisto Island, and watched the first two Trapped in the Closet specials. We'll be getting a pre-fixed dinner from Publix and watchiong lots of TV on Thursday.

I'm going to Murfreesboro to spend time with my grandma rather than go to my shitty uncle's house in Clarksville with the rest of my family.

Every year after dinner, it's TIJUANA time in our household.

we're gonna eat a nice breakfast and use our new shiny chrome waffle maker which was a wedding present from my friends kayla & josh. then we'll watch the macy's thanksgiving day parade and drink hot chocolate and hot caramel apple cider and someone who will be out of town will text msg me discussing our favourite floats, balloons, and performances. then for the first time in two years due to insane circumstances, we will be going back to our old tradition of eating lobster tails and claws for thanksgiving. but this year we'll be adding shrimp cocktail and knowing my chickadees, edamame will be involved.

you didnt tell me you got married

Left town later than expect Tuesday night. Got stuck in traffic leaving town. Decided to stop in Franklin, KY to have a chicken sandwhich and fries (huuuuuuuuuuuuge mistake). Peace Polliwog cries about 6 of the 10 hours due to cutting all four molars simultaneously. Arrived in Detroit at 3 am local time. Proceed to puke and crap our guts out at 3:30 am until mid morning the next day on account of nasty nasty case of food poisoning from the Franklin McDonald's. Couldn't even look at food until Friday morning. Snowed 5 inches and wind chills in the minus teens all weekend. Decided family needs to come see us now if they want a Thanksgiving. Left Sunday, thus failing our holiday tradition of trying not to leave early. Loving my own bed at this second.

We watched poker on ESPN and gorged ourselves on turkey, stuffing, orzo, broc'n'cheese, sweet potato casserole, rolls, cranberry-orange sauce, and some merlot. Between feedings, we went to the beach to take pictures of a lighthouse and enjoy the 70-degree weather.

It's eerie how similar my Thanksgiving was to yours, PF.
