Next week will mark the one year anniversary of the message board's first post. How should we commemorate such an auspicious occasion?

I suggest that we all retire our usernames on November 26 and come back with new names.

If we don't do that, we can have a big party at the next show.

I like the idea of some sort of party or formal meeting with name tags and whatnot at the Red Rose show (since the under 18 crowd will be able to attend). We can bring the band a cake too. Or just the board moderators. Or everyone...but I like my name and I'm not fond of retiring it...

I'd be up for the Red Rose idea. I'd retire my screenname if that what it comes to, but I hope it doesn't because the would be really confusing.

I will show up if TF throws a party for sure. I might even QUIT work (which is the only thing that keeps me from shows) to attend that.

i am also down with the nametags idea. i openly admit to being one of the most socially awkward people i know, so nametags may help with me and my kind.

My nametag is my necklace. It does say my name, after all. So, I guess I always have it on.
As for the Red Rose show, I asked off at work last night, and my name is down on the 20th to be OFF! YAY! I just hope Kim doesn't screw something up and write me down to work anyway. But, as always, I am up for a meeting.

and i'm insanely antisocial and can only comfortably talk to people in public if i've had a couple of drinks.

I used to be miidly friendly, but I've developed this thick sarcasting skin over the past few years, it gets bad sometimes, btu I've been working on a way to reverse it. It's weird most of the time people see me I'm laughing my arse off about something, or either have I have these strange humorous looks on my face, but conversation just moves on back into the silly sarcasm.

if i am around for this show, i will not be wearing a name tag. name tags are for really huge churches (cpc) and high school reunions.

I'm glad that I've had the board as a regular element in my everyday life. It's led to me meeting some supercool people, and it's helped me get to know the band that I love so much that much better. So, thanks to you all.
