Ok, so this is WAAAAYYY too early to be as excited as I am, but the Shins AND Beachwood Sparks are playing a show TOGETHER at the Slow Bar on July 15. Hope you all can make it, even if it takes a fake ID.

I know nothing of the Shins, but Beachwood Sparks has been one of my favorites of the past few years. That reminds me, they have a new ep out. I'd buy it, but no one carries any good music in far East Tennessee.

ps Roadie could easily pass as a member of Beachwood Spars.

Well those turned out to be live tracks and not of the complete band... but they're still kind of cool. I would search for them on CDNOW to hear some clips from the CD.
