TOPIC: Things That Make You Go- HMM!
Posted  Wednesday, September 24, 2003 at 5:56 AM
Post 1 of 47
Here's a few.

1. The Uncle Kracker remake of the "give me the beat boys" song.

2.There's another song that drives me crazy. Not sure who it is, but it repeats the line- "There's a hole in the world tonight, don't let there be a hole in the world tomorrow" over and over again. It's probably some living legend that I should respect who keeps making crappy music that everyone has to listen to while he's still alive. Right.

3. McPhilly Cheesesteak- this is the worst looking\sounding idea I've ever heard. In the commercials, when they're introducing a new item, McDonald's of course tries it's best to prepare the food in the most enticing way it can. EVEN in the commercials this thing looks like it was found by a dumpster diving hobo.

4. HotDog scented Gaz- it didn't smell like hot dogs. at all.

I refuse to listen to your opinion on the McPhilly Cheesesteak until you've actually eaten one. Cheesesteaks aren't supposed to look that good. That's the point.

I will agree, though, that anything Uncle Kracker does is unholy.

What the hell is Gaz?

I agree on all counts, foldsfan. Well, except for #4. I have no idea what you're talking about there.

I wouldn't eat a McPhilly Cheesesteak if they were free. But there's something even sketchier than that - the McRib. To me, it doesn't even matter how it might taste. Just look at the shape of the meat...and eventually you will arrive at the conclusion that the only way they could get it to look like that (with those artificial "ribs") was to "pour" the meat (in a liquid state) into some kind of mold.

McRibs are my FAVORITE mcdonald's sandwich! I guess the fact is, all food that comes out of Mcdonalds is shit and will always be shit. That was my first job when i was 15, and worst job so far. Cooking mcdonalds food. And for a long while i wouldnt eat there anymore. Now its a part of my diet. Cant pass up on a $1 double cheese burger when your hungry and late for class or work.

And really, all food that we buy is shit if u think about it. All the chemicals pumped into it, all the other sources of protein ground into it, all the hormones injected into it. Really the only way to eat well, is to grow it yourself, or do the ted nugent thing and kill it yourself.

Am I freaky for really really wanting to try Papa Johns' new Barbecue Chicken pizza? I enjoy CiCi's concoction, so maybe the fancy Papa Johns' version will be even better...

Unkcle Kracker or no, "Give Me the Beat Boys" is a terrible song. I should have included it in the worst song ever thread.

The Eagles represent so much of what I hate about rock. I really really can't stand that band. I'll complain about them until you throw me out of your cab.

It depends...I don't like the ham on Meat Lover's pizza, but when it is by itself and paired with pineapple, it's edible. I only eat this pizza on CiCi's buffet, though, and would never just order a whole pizza with this on it.

For your basic delivery pizza, the spinach alfredo is rather enjoyable, as is Papa John's in general.

I also enjoy pineapple on my pizza, but none of my friends do, so I usually don't get it.

Yes, Mellow Mushroom is pricey, but that's why no sane person eats there as often as they would like. It's damn good, just expensive.

Papa John's sucks. Actually, I don't really like any of those chain pizza places, except maybe Sir Pizza. Mellow Mushroom is good. I like Pizza Perfect the best.

I'm pretty flexible when it comes to pizza toppings. I do have a strict NO OLIVES policy, though. Olives are gross. But I think plain cheese pizza is my favorite.

I love you JC! Pizza Perfect is awesome! During my more financially secure days of the summer, my friends and I would go to Pizza Perfect every weekend, sometimes twice. We noticed that the Sicilian pizza with pepperoni has a spice on it that tastes very much like pot. From then on, we would get weed-pizza from Pizza Perfect at every opportunity.

I had that thai chicken pizza once. It was ok, but a little weird for me. I do like the idea of peanuts on pizza though.

I would eat at Schlotzki's more if they didn't screw up my order roughly 80% of the time I go. I usually get the turkey original, and knowing that they will screw it up if I just say "lettuce only," I say "I want exactly the following: bread, turkey, salami, lettuce, and cheese. No olives or anything like that." Almost every time, they still give me fucking olives (I'm with you JamieCarroll) or sometimes mayo or other crap I don't want. Sorry to the majority of you who had no interest in that story.
