Will, actually, I believe that the total number of posts is much higher than 5000. Those figures down at the bottom of the main page (I think) are only for the time since the board switched to this new format (in July). For instance, it says that we only have 28 registered members, when there are actually many more than that.

If you look further up the page at the number of topics and replies, where you actually enter the forums, the total number of posts is actually more like 11,105.

Oh I can't prove anything. The history of this board perplexes me since I did not start regularly visting until July 3rd or so. The whole "Brian Eno" legion and myth still mystifies me.
