Word. I found though that if you take off the garters I don't get the racing stripe tan lines... I'm sharing to much now aren't I?

Given that I'm always abreast of the future fashion trends or as Calvin and Tommy once told me "your fashion genuis is a constant muse" and "you all that and a bag a' chee-tos." I'll gladly tell you all that the next swimwear trend for the post-midsummer pre-summer's end season is. . . sans-a-bikini-belted-belts with interchangeable colored buckles. virtually eliminates tan-lines. And for guys; pants and a pit-stained tee.

oh come on, the belt is kind of cool. or, was, when mariah carey wore one in her "honey" video. i loved that video back in 6th grade, or so.

also, i would like to hereby apologize to everyone for starting the cheerleading skirt trend, especially dads with daughters. it was definitely not my intention to give green hills girls a chance to flash their labia all over the place; but i can never predict which of my fashion ideas will catch on, especially with the tweens.

I saw a girl at a coffee shop the other night who had accidentally tucked the back of one of these skirts into her thong underwear. So her ass was just there for the world to see and she was totally oblivious. My friend and I were debating whether to say something and draw further attention to it, but luckly the girl sat down and the look on her face as she felt her bare ass touch the seat cushion was awful.

I'm sorry to question you... please forgive me, I forgot Nashville was the center of the fashion world and not Milan... and I was aware of pointy shoes thru the ages, but at the time in the States the big clunky shoes were in style... just being observant... it's what I do.

I think we've already discussed this... there were Italians wearing those skirts 2 years ago... and if I remember right, my HS girlfriend had about 90 of them... of course that was 1986, but I'm sure you started the trend of wearing Pampers then... And if you want to play "Who's More Stubborn" you're going down lady, down to Chinatown.

You were one of the first respectable people I knew to sing JT's praises. It's true. But I think Brynne was the very first, right? I mean, she was into N*Sync.

I started the trend of referring to Kid A as "the emperor's new clothes."
Relevant: Prince, PT Anderson, Punk, Post-Punk, Purple, Party of Five, Peter Swanson, Peter Gabriel-led Genesis, "Peter Panic", Paul's Boutique, Potential Energy, Every Features MB member but me.

You must've been on "That's Incredible!" then with Fran Tarkenton, because a three year old that can design and sew her own clothes IS incredible.

Just admit your Al Gore-like statement was preposterous and we'll all move on.

And since this has thread has sunk to all new lows of nitpicking: Even if my statement about Chinatown was a euphemism, you'd still be an American citizen.

I never said I was the "overstatement-sarcasm flag bearer", I was probably a bit grouchy (yes, that is a mea culpa)... but I think an intelligent person like you can see that I am a pretty dry/sarcastic person.

I didn't know we were choosing sides around here, but I really didn't mean for this to turn into a ridiculously petty melee. I am extending my hand with an olive branch, a pair of pointy shoes and cheerleader skirt. If you'd be so kind as to retract your "YOU chill the fuck out" all things will be kosher, and we get on to more important things like beating Digsy down. wink.gif
