TOPIC: Top 10 of 2003

With the posting of the top 10 albums, I figured I'd go on and create the thread for the rest of the lists that are going to be popping up soon. Hopefully this won't get as out of hand as the Top 5 Lists thread since it's only for this year....

Top 10 TV Shows of 2003
1. Buffy the Vampire Slayer It's the last year this can be my #1, so here it is. Amazing final episode...
2. Angel Proudly keeping the Buffy tradition alive. This could be the show of 2004 for me.
3. Alias Snap, so many plot twists and amazing performances. This should be the #1 drama on TV.
4. Friends It's final year has been as good as the last couple. I'll definitely have a countdown to the last episode...
5. Six Feet Under I just discovered this show and it definitely wowed me. Now I know why all them darn HBO shows win everything.
6. Late Nite w/ Conan O'Brien 10th anniversary, White Stripes, Strokes, the Cat impersonation, Schwarzenneger, hilarious year
7. Queer Eye for the Straight Guy The best makeover show on TV, and it's amazingly funny.
8. Real World: Paris A great season with a great/annoying cast and possibly the most annoying Real Worlder since Puck: CT.
9. ER Parminder Nagra and Linda Cardinelli have reinvigorated this show. Plus Bob Newhart and a helicopter crash, best ER in years.
10. Newlyweds "Why does that dolphin have a hole in its head?"
11. I Love The 80s: Strikes Back I can't get enough of this funky stuff. Michael Ian Black is just too funny...and I love TV too much to just have 10...

Top 10 Purchases of 2003
1. Strokes Concert Ticket
2. Strokes Concert Pictures
3. The Strokes Room on Fire
4. Navy Worker's Jacket from Salvation Army
5. Black Adidas Sambas
6. "The Bob Newhart Show" VHS Box Set
7. X2: X-Men United on DVD
8. Vintage navy shirt w/ white polka dots
9. 1984 X-Men/Storm patch
10. X-Force Button

I guess to cut down on Top 10 Clutter, here's some others that may go in other forums...hmm...

Top 10 Singles of 2003
1. "Hey Ya!" by OutKast/Andre 3000
2. "Seven Nation Army" by the White Stripes
3. "12:51" by the Strokes
4. "I Believe In A Thing Called Love" the Darkness
5. "Clocks" Coldplay
6. "So Says I" the Shins
7. "Date With The Night" the Yeah Yeah Yeahs
8. "It's My Life" No Doubt (Darnit it's catchy, and most all the singles this year have sucked!)
9. hmm...
10. yeah...

Add some more if you feel that 5-10 things have totally rocked your socks off this year. I'm holding off on movies until Return of the King on Dec. 17th, plus that's a pretty passionate topic so I'm sure someone who actually knows about movies will do one in the Film board.
