i have recently rediscovered my love for the super nintendo, between chrono trigger and emulation sites (because dammit i can't justify paying a shit-ton of money on ebay for a used copy of final fantasy 3) anytime that i just feel like sitting on my ass all day i play the games i loved so many years ago. so do any of you share my love, for the good ole days of gaming, or am i just trying too hard to recapture my childhood?
Sometime's I'm thinking that I love you, but I know it's only lust.

i don't know about the good ole days of gaming, but i do have a playstation 2 which, no matter how bored i am, is never touched...i have no idea whay i bought it in the first place...i should've learned by now that it's not a good idea for me to buy anything that i can't wear or listen to, as inevitably i get the buyer's remorse.

I love chrono trigger. And try EarthBound. Those are probably the only two games I ever really consider playing.

Yeah, CT really did rule. I just loved how their were so many possible endings. I only played for once, but it's a really cool idea. And EB's pretty much the only present-day RPG ever, or the only good one, and it's just a really fun game. I bet I'd still get nostalgic if I heard the "Ness' House" theme song...

I don't play any video games anymore, though. I might borrow a friend's copy and play the latest Zelda game, but I'd much rather waste time and money on music.

its like this andrew. I don't have $300 or howmuchever playstations are just to "throw away" (I am NES old school ALL THE WAY) and i think its weird to drop that money on something (esp something fun) and just watch it collect dust.

kind of like, "oh man, you guys, i bought a fucking brand new car last month and it's awesome, the only problem is, i haven't had time to drive it yet."
thank you for being a friend.

whoever you are, you obviously don't know me...i don't have the money for shit like that either. i'd like to sell it, but i don't really know where to go to do so...or maybe i'm just too lazy to put forth the effort. regardless, i appreciate the bitterness of your sentiment though it's quite unwarranted.

it seemed pretty obvious that you were just saying "damn, I blew a lot of money on that. I shouldn't have."

as for video games, my roommates and I play a lot of nintendo 64. specifically, wayne gretzky's 3d hockey and goldeneye. during the right seasons, triple play baseball, techmo superbowl, and ncaa football 2001 are played quite a bit.

Do you know how to make his head bleed?

I started playing Mario Kart (for GC) again recently. I think it's a wonderful game.

Video games were the one thing i excelled at throughout my early life. I'm so glad all those hours of practice have paid off.
P.s. Why do people like the role playing games? I played Final Fantasy for nintendo (still the best gaming system) and was put off from the start, " this hit point garbage is for D&D geeks" I says to myself i says. give me excite-bike or give me tea & cake. . . i also like r.c. pro-am and Tecmo Bowl.
