I have always favored Jeopardy and Press Your Lucky. Mindylieu, I have had those PB and Choc Oreos...that's some good stuff. My grandparents are really into Wheel of Fortune, and although I can't stand to watch it, I have to when I am visiting their house between 7:00 and 7:30. I am pretty damn good at it, too. I just hate those idiots who scream and go 'COME ON BIG MONEY'. But, yeah, Jeopardy is awesome. And, then again, I am a nerd.

I don't really watch game shows, but I really like cookies. I like the soggy Chips-A-Hoy. Do you realize that I don't really care if that's how it spelled? Well, I don't. Snickerdoodles are damn good, too.

Does anyone remember Keebler Magic Middle cookies? Those were better than Girl Scout cookies. On the outside, they looked like regular choclate-chip cookies, but the inside was filled with creamy chocolate.

gameshows:
Survey Says!...I had an unhealty obsession with Plinko on the Price is Right as a child. Let's Make a Deal was a favorite. I would totally own Rock and Roll Jeopardy. I use to play along and keep score. Mark McGrath may know a lot about Blondie and Spandua Ballet, but I'd make him my bitch.

cookies:
I still, literally, have an unhealthy obsession with cookies. Those Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip are amazing. I hold a soft spot for Girl Scouts and their cookies. Samoas!

Game shows (If there is a black person on a game show, I always pull for them.  Don't ask me why.  This is not a racist thing, or a negative thing at all, it's just been my instinct since I was a young child.)

The Price is Right
Double Dare
The Wheel
Win Ben Stein's Money
Supermarket Sweep (or any such game show)
The Feud
RnR Jeopardy
Sale of the Century
Endurance
The $20 Sack Pyramid

Cookies:
Lord, just about all of them I like, especially homemade ones.  Cookies that I don't like:
-'Wedding cookies', or any kind of cookie with powdered sugar on them
-Lemon cookies
-Uh, that's about it.
Relevant: Prince, PT Anderson, Punk, Post-Punk, Purple, Party of Five, Peter Swanson, Peter Gabriel-led Genesis, "Peter Panic", Paul's Boutique, Potential Energy, Every Features MB member but me.

It was always my dream to go on the college tournament of Jeopardy while attending somewhere like Motlow...then beat the asses of those rich kids from Yale, Harvard, et cetera. I think I could do it too, but I may aquire the jitters once I got on camera. Then I would be relegated to just saying 'suck it Trebeck' over and over.

Jeopardy
Family Feud

Did anyone see the bloopers from gameshows? It was nbc a couple weeks ago. It was funny.

Thin mints are the best girl scout cookies and samoas are now called something different.

DEAR GOD IN HEAVEN....those were the best cookies ever. i know that sounds overdramatic, but i am a sweets addict. they also had some with fruit in the middle for a while. i love the peppridge farm verona cookies. they're the ones made of shortbread with a fruit jelly center. i want to go eat cookies and watch the gong show. chuck berris is my idol.

when i moved up to JC i noticed a change in names on the girl scout cookie boxes. come to find out, its a regional thing. in knoxville, samoas are samoas, but up here they are 'caramel delights.' tagalongs are peanut butter patties, etc. i asked some of my friends and they thought i was crazy because they always knew of them as 'caramel delites' or however you spell it. anyways, i asked a troop leader because i wanted to get to the bottom of this and she explained it all to me.
isn't it funny that baby plural is babies, but cookies singular isn't cooky? same with movie(s)...hmmm...

I like the Louie Anderson Family Fued because he hosts it like he knows that he's hosting a crappy game show. It is very loose sometimes. But Jeopardy really is the best value for viewing time as far as game shows go. Especially Rock n Roll Jeopardy.
The cookies with elves on either side and filling in the middle were E.L. Fudge. I am not sure if they still make them.

You know what I find interesting? That the topic started as game shows, we talked about game shows for a while, then cookies, then sneaking stuff into DitD, and now y'all are talking about game shows again. I know the threads go off topic all the time, but do they ever get back on topic after a couple of days, or is this just wierd? By the way, Being John Malkovich was good. I hope y'all all saw it. If not, it's really good and is coming on Comedy Central again tomorrow at 2:30/1:30C. Watch it, please.

My specialty could probably be on 'The Breakfast Club' if they wanted to get that specific with it. I used to watch it everyday, so I would have to practice to get refreshed. But, that would be on the only category I would even have a chance in.
And as we all know, a lot of us could be 'Saved by the Bell' experts.
