I had an X3 one, so...that was very out of date.

I bought season 2 of "Lost" a couple days early at some locally owned DVD store in Brooklyn. They also had season 2 of "The Office" a good two weeks before it was released. I'm curious about the origin......

Congrats on the internship... I'm totally jealous. I might be headed up there for next week's show. There are several air specials this month.

and i got promoted; im managing the studio now which rocks, except im never home.
my cat got really sick and i spent roughtly $3000+ to get him better. im no cat killer. he's alive and well.
so life is good. im heading out to target.

So...I'm on "The Late Show" tonight in a taped bit with David Letterman and Paul Shaffer. It's about 10 minutes into the show, which also has Richard Simmons, Kate Walsh from "Grey's Anatomy", Ciara, and a comedy bit from Andy Kindler.

Awesome! I'll be watching in HD glory. Did you guys have a party for Paul last night? I assume that cake was real.

No party, but it was also Chris Funk of The Decemberists' birthday and I saw them discuss it onstage. Yesterday was a good day.

Speaking of the Late Show, the Silversun Pickups are the musical guest tonight, Fri Dec 1. They are my favorite new band of the year. I saw them live at a small venue and they kicked all the ass there is to kick. Set yer TiVos to "stun". Digsy, have fun, and enjoy the rock!

Yeah, we tape Friday's show on Monday, so I can say that they do impress. Dave also goes crazy over them; he thoroughly enjoys it.

I've had some job prospects, so aside from visiting the Boro, I'm a New York transplant. It's pretty amazing up here. I miss driving the car (homeless people don't try to sell me batteries in my car, that's only enjoyed on the subway).

Congratulations on the show!!!! I am so proud. What was with the John Madden look-alike?

That's Frank Caliendo, a former cast member on "MadTV." Dave loves him and has him on often. This is the second time he's been on as John Madden since August, and he was also on during impressionist week. He did both Dave and Paul...pretty nice.

I thought he was awesome on impressionist week, but the John Madden thing last night...... I guess I'm just not into John Madden enough to think it's funny.

Yeah I don't know anything about John Madden aside from what Frank prefaced his imperssion of him with last time he was on. And I had the 1993 sega edition of his football game. I didn't play it except to run around in circles.

I used to love his impersonations of Madden. The one last night was pretty bizzare though... at least to me. I guess maybe because they actually introduced him as John Madden and never said a thing about Frank Caliendo.
