TOPIC: Who made my day?

So I was leaving my class today with a skip in my step because I had made a bad grade in one class, which I was able to argue into a decent grade, and then a genuinely good grade in another class.... when all of a sudden the sweet melodic voice of Matt Pelham filled the air!!!

It was approximately 4 o'clock this afternoon. I stopped dead in my tracks... "Why... it couldn't possibly be... but IT IS!!" 'The Beginning' was shaking the walls of a downstairs Mass Comm classroom.

Dumbfounded, I pressed my nose into the glass window of the classroom door wistfully thinking to myself, "What are they doing? I must SEE!!!"

But then I realized how silly I must've appeared to the people who were actually in the class.. so I decided to subtly back away from the window and listen to the remainder of the song from the hallway.

After the song ended, one very enthusiastic cheer followed. "WHOOOO!"

Surely someone here must've witnessed this from inside the classroom?

That's odd....when I was downstairs putting job openings in the mass comm case, I heard some class playing some early 90s dance song at top volume. This is interesting...indeed...

I was hoping someone would be able to explain what was going on in there... but, alas, I guess it will remain a mystery.

It was probably the songwriting class. I know they usually have a day in that class when everyone brings in a song they like, and then they discuss what makes it a good song.

you should bring in a features song. By then, maybe their new album will be out.

I think you should give Barry Manilow the love he deserves.
That's so NA.

If by "the love he deserves', you mean "a swift kick to the jewels", I agree. Talk about a no talent, Neil Diamond wannbe hack.

Ha ha...I do prefer Neil. I read somewhere that American Idol Clay Aiken was the Barry Manilow of our generation.

He totally is! He even kind of looks like him. I have to say that his song is FAR worse than any Barry Manilow song that I've ever heard. The song totally plays up to the fact that he came in second and was seemingly lost in the shuffle.
