Seriously... I love the Winter Games. I was in Detroit this weekend and realized how much I really miss the snow. I need to go skiing... anyone interested?

It makes me laugh when, during the "medal presenting ceremony" (the real name of the ceremony escapes me...), the cameramen/women zoom in artistically to the gold medalist's eyes like they're on some fucking safari for tears. ("OH! I THINK I SEE A TEAR!!! ZOOM IN GUYS!!!!!")

i've been watching. nbc is the only network i watch. and i don't have cable.

my favourite so far has been the couples figure skating short program and my favourite pair has been zhao hongbo and shen xue what with the ruptured achilles' injury. my second favourite is john baldwin and rena inoue.

other than that, i liked the women's freestyle skiing. i loved kari traa. i didn't care for the men's skiing. bode miller reminds me james frey and that makes me want to throw up. the halfpipe: i really like shaun white's teeth, the hair on the other hand has to go. and hannah teter is completely fucking annoying and shouldn't be interviewed because she really shouldn't talk. and the girl that's replacing michelle kwan is sloppy as hell. but hey, i LOVE julia mancuso and will be watching her skii.
lastnight i overheard the olive saying 'is he going to make a snow angel or what?' while watching some mens skiing.
