What do you listen to when you work out?

Daniel Bedingfield (sp?) - Gotta get through this
I love the poppy-techno stuff & 80s music. I don't think this topic is going to do very well because I'm sure its the same for everyone.

The Features are great also. I discovered tonite that "The Beginning" is the best workout song EVER. What's your favorite Features song to work out to?

I always exercise out of doors, so...

However, I used to have a "Mousersice" record when I was younger. I loved working out (well, really, just dancing around the room) to that. Nothing keeps you energized like the encouraging squeaks of Mickey Mouse.

I had that thing too! I was also into "Totally Minnie" and "Goin Quackers." And "Flashbeagle." I listened to really cool things in grade school.

I also had Yankee Doodle Mickey on record. I have such fond memories of singing along with Molly Ringwald as she belted out "This is My Country" that I bought it on CD recently. Ah, it brings back such fond memories to put it in and sing along now.

For some reason, I thought you would've grown up listening to "Eye of the Tiger" a lot. smile.gif

Damn straight, honeyyy. I've got hand motions galore.

I have a feeling that after the recent sucess with your Features dance squad a lot of people will be joining in.

I think I might have to sit "The Damage is Done" out though. Don't wanna cause anymore bloody noses.. rolleyes.gif

That's awesome. Now the barricade at the front will be even harder to get through due to flailing arms and people jumping around. I can't wait until the next show!

There was about a year where I worked out almost exclusively to Red Hot Chilli Peppers- Blood Sugar Sex Magic. That album is long enough (17 tracks) to get a good work out, the tempos are great to run to, and the songs are awesome. Yes, I know they suck ass now.

Other albums I've used a lot when working out:
Self- Breakfast With Girls
Weezer- Pinkerton
Supergrass- In It For The Money/I Should Coco
Joe Marc's Brother- Mix of their more upbeat stuff
A rap mix that the much-missed Freezetag made me.
I TOTALLY AGREE!

Keith, you are destined to rock. Never forget this.

At my highschool, the basketball team ran out to "Eye of the Tiger" before every home game. It was a long-standing tradition. I used to be so embarassed about it back then, but now I just think it's dead cool.

Smee...correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you have a family member who had something to do with that song?

I'd like to add how creepy it is to lift weights to "Psycho Killer".. It makes me feel like I'm training for some psycho killer-y thing.
