tonight I had my first wreck, it's wasnt really bad damage at all, but the two dudes I hit were scary as hell, and they were all pissed, and one of the dudes was high and I though he was gunna pull a gun on me. I didn't call the cops right away, I called my dad, wich turned out to be a bad move. then the dude wanted to see my drivers liscense and I let him because I was afraid to refuse for fear that I might get shot. which also I learned was not smart. and then they dudes drove off. so now I'm stuck with two thuggy dudes with my adress, phone number and liscense plate #, and I dont know anything about them.

Shit, that sucks John. Did you call the police at any point? It really sucks that they know all of your personal stuff. How old were they?

Well, chances are they will use that to contact your insurance if any damage was done to their call. When they do, the law is in your favor: they left the scene of an accident. Maybe I'm too optimistic about these things. Wrecks suck.

Wrecks do suck, especially when you're dressed up as Nightcrawler... ph34r.gif

yes I did call the police when my dad got there, and they looked to be about 19 or 20 somewhere around there

when i was 16, i was waiting in a utrn lane to turn left. some bitch in a brand new lexus ran a red light and swerved going about 60 miles an hour and hit me going head on. The bitch and her lexus came out alright. my car flew back about 100 feet, i cracked my sternum, fractured and bruised the hell out of my leg and my car was totalled.
sucks about yr liscence, dude. that's rough.
thank you for being a friend.

As someone who could be called "accident prone" in cars, I was wondering if this would turn into an exchange of stories. I've only been injured once--I bit my tongue in a car accident once. The bite was so deep that the doctor put nine stitches in it. It was not pretty.

they didn't take my liscence, they just got information off of it, like my address, and wrote it down, but the cop that came said that you shouldnt show someone your liscence.

Oh, I thought that they took your license. Well, it's still kind of bad, but not as bad as them physically having your ID. I don't think that it's much to worry about in that case. They probably just wanted it for insurance purposes, or to take your mom's jewelry while she's sleeping.

I mean like for someone to find out information like in the case of a wreck, I didnt really ask the cop to elaborate on that, but I'm guessing all you really need to give a person when you have a wreck with them is your name, #, and liscence plate #
