I just wanted to file a brief report with the message with the message board community. Yesterday afternoon at 1:00 PM, YaDaDaDa and Token were united in holy matrimony before God and an assembly of witnesses. The ceremony was wonderful, and both families thoroughly enjoyed getting to know each other throughout the festivities.

I'll try to put up some pictures sometime this week while the two are off on their honeymoon.

Actually, the happy couple assembled a "wedding soundtrack" that was used throughout the festivities. Tracks from it were used at both the rehearsal dinner and the reception. They also used some of the songs on a CD that was given as a favor to guests at the reception. YDDD used "Crazies" as the requisite Fluid Ounces song. After Seth met Amber, he wrote plenty of songs that would be good to use in a wedding. People in love are so sweet.

Hey kids and greetings from NYC. I am standing in the Times Square Visitors Center as I type this. This city is great, I tell ya, but friggin' crowded.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi and thanks again. Ghostflower, too bad we couldn't have gotten your honeymoon mix tape recommendations before we left. It might have, uh, "spiced" things up for us!

I'll think of you all as you enjoy The Features on Friday night. I'm a bit jealous.

Thanks again for the well-wishing. Random thoughts on New York--

1. I visited a guitar store there (Sam Ash). It sucked. I then wondered if Nashville has more songwriters than New York. My guess is yes.

2. At the record stores, they actually have a LOCAL MUSIC RACK. It has the Strokes and Sonic Youth and Lou Reed on it.

3. I flipped through the channels late Friday night. Funny, with 1,000,000 mega stars playing right down town, all I can find is the Nashville 4th on A&E. Brian Wilson looks like he's gone crazy. He didn't touch the keyboard. He just smiled pretended to touch it.

4. I really wished the trip could've been highlighted by seeing a band while there. It didn't work out. The Features would've been great especially.

On our first anniversary we went and unthawed our cake to discover that my mother in law included the flowers that were on the cake as decor in the box with it... it was totally ruined...
