Indifferent. It involves a realm which has little or nothing to do with me.

Outkast sweeps it (and actually deserve it). White Stripes and Coldplay go crying home to their mamas.
Eh.

I think the academy needs a band to have, you know, a record before they start giving out Grammys.
I TOTALLY AGREE!

Keith, you are destined to rock. Never forget this.

I'm glad to see Outkast getting some respect, but they're getting it for the wrong album - this one is just not that great. I do think that they'll leave with multiple Grammys, but it won't be a Lauryn Hill/Santana/Norah Jones-style sweep. Specifically, I don't think they'll win Record of the Year (Beyonce or Eminem will). They might come away with Album of the Year, but only because the competition is so weak.

Coldplay will win a Grammy. So will the White Stripes.

I will be rooting for Dylan and George Harrison in every category they're nominated in.

Audioslave was nominated for Best Rock Album?!!!.

that damn hippity hop music! taking grammys away from steely dan!

"hey ya!" and "crazy in love" will kick everyones ass, and rightly so.

the only truly ludicrous nomination here is evanescence. That and that horrible black eyed peas song. the white stripes seem a little obligatory. so does eminem.

A great one is that Fountains of Wayne is nominated for best new artist. Generous of them to allow bands on their third album to fill that category, don't you think?

No real opinions this year. Outkast, White Stripes, and Coldplay have my votes. All fantastic records, even though the Coldplay album is ancient. Nothing this year is as criminal as the exclusion of Wilco and The Flaming Lips was last year.

Hardline dismissal of an entire genre of music is irrelevent and stupid. Open your mind up a little bit. You'll be amazed at how much good music is out there.
