I always thought Alan White was kind of a one trick pony. He's a pretty good drummer, I guess, but...you know that one fill I'm talking about - yeah, that one that's in every transition of every Oasis song since "Don't Look Back in Anger." That one's kind of gotten old.

Unfortunately, I don't think a new drummer can save Oasis at this point.

nope. i still find some enjoyment from them with each new release, though. it would take a truly terrible album to completely turn me off.

The only way that this isn't going to completely piss me off is if they don't officially replace him. Alan is the definitive Oasis drummer. The revolving door of members is getting ridiculous. I also don't like how they "asked him to leave the band" like he's some sort of problem child that had to be put in his place. I dunno, he's my favorite member and I don't know how this is going to affect my love for Oasis. Time will tell...

My desire to ever see Oasis in concert again has just decreased greatly...
