Do you like it? I guess it's more organized, but I kind of liked being able to see everything laid out at once before. The genre pages are improved, though, and I like the picture browser. I do NOT like to have to register for more information.

I agree. The old version was much easier to navigate. I think you have to subscribe to get some of the info that was previously free.

I like the old version better if only because every album was rated better. It seems like every single album that was once 3 stars is now at 2.5. That's ridiculous. This is really aggravating since The Beginning now only has 2.5 stars. If they actually changed the written reviews, I would understand this...but they didn't.

Overall, I miss the old way but I'll get used to this nonsense.

i use allmusic for my job quite a bit, and while they were going through the transformation last week, it was hard for me to find the info i needed. i think it's running more smoothly now...i don't hate it, but like all new things, it'll take some getting used to.
