Seriously. It's like that Field Day Fest was supposed to be last summer.
Relevant: Prince, PT Anderson, Punk, Post-Punk, Purple, Party of Five, Peter Swanson, Peter Gabriel-led Genesis, "Peter Panic", Paul's Boutique, Potential Energy, Every Features MB member but me.

Seriously. It's like that Field Day Fest was supposed to be last summer.
But really, even better.

Bands I would see on their own, without too much consideration:
Radiohead, the Pixies, Wilco, the Rapture, Future Sound of London, Trail of Dead, Death Cab fo Cutie, Junior Senior, Electric Six, the Section Quartet, The Cure, The Flaming Lips, Air, Belle and Sebastian, Basement Jaxx, Christal Method, Broken Social Scene, Prefuse73, and !!! .

Of those, I'd pay (and have paid in many cases) $40 or more to see: Radiohead, the Pixies, Wilco, Death Cab for Cutie, The Cure, and The Flaming Lips, all of whom likely find themselves in my top 30 or 40 acts of all time.

Wish I could go. And I detest festivals.

Will
You may like grandma's yard gnomes, but I've seen Rock City. Remember it.

there isnt a band on that list that i would travel 3000 miles, spend hundreds-probably even a thousand dollars on and still have to deal with a festivle of complete idiots.

actually the only band i would do that for would a smashing pumpkins reunion. but yeah id REALLY love to see Ash as well. ive been into them ever since i first listened to the Angus soundtrack.
I wanna offended no persons!

I actually rather enjoy Junior Senior, but that may just be the cocaine-using disco pimp in me
And I would go anywhere to see the Cure, except maybe Cleveland

there's a hyphen now

cocaine using disco pimp in me
not to critique your grammar or anything, but when I first read this, I thought you meant that cocaine uses disco pimp inside you, not that you are a cocaine-using disco pimp. That confused the hell out of me for about 20 seconds. What a difference a hyphen can make.

Sorry for wasting your time.
