I know it conflicts with the aforementioned indie-pop night at the End, but I thought some of you may be interested in this. For those who don't know, Count Bass D was part of the Murfreesboro/Spongebath Scene in it's heyday. If I'm not mistaken, he played the Ficticious Records showcase with the almighty Features and Character a few months back.

Next Tuesday, November 25, we welcome a late night DJ set by the one and only, Count Bass D! Count is one of the most fun and intelligent personalities in hip-hop today, and he resides here in Nashville. His latest album, Dwight Spitz, has been gathering acclaims left and right. Count takes some time off from all his jobs and music making to drop a rare and special DJ set, starting around 12:30. So we'll go as late as Count feels like spinning records from his deep and diverse collection. Also scheduled to appear are Dave Cash and members of the Heavyweight Sound System.
Spin Echo is a weekly forum of music, food, and drink that takes place every Tuesday night from 10PM - 1AM at Basantes in Green Hills.
