I heard it got the ax. Has there been any talk in Nashville for a replacement of sorts?

i wonder if uptown mix is going to stick around then. probably not...

I thought they cancelled Uptown Mix last year in lieu of the concert series that was held outside of Mercy Lounge (that The Features played with The Shazam and Fountains of Wayne). [Edit: I just looked it up-- the Cannery Row Revival is set to happen again on Saturdays in August, September, and the first half of October.]

There was also that very short-lived summer concert series sponsored by some place downtown called Bluesboro. I think they were run out of business by the Mercy Lounge series and to a lesser degree, DitD.

The Uptown Mix site (the parking lot by SouthStreet) is a giant hole in the ground housing the foundation of a high rise condo building... doubt they have it there...
