yep, totally can't wait to see them.

I have no plans to wear a costume, and I know that makes me lame. In fact I'm contemplating not going for fear everyone would know that I was infested with lame.

But now I think I have to go b/c I know that DND are going to show up in something... "festive." To say the very least. Cowboys and frenchmen, maybe?

on top of being awesome, they're cooky to boot. And I could eat that little Sandy Sandidge up with a spork and a ladle he's so cute.

oh, and looking forward to the music of course.

I think you will just feel out of place if you aren't dressed up, but I doubt anyone will actually dislike you for it. You should dress up. It's easy. I need somebody to be my Dolly Parton, because Powder P won't do it.

They should be characters from "Welcome Back Kotter." Derek could be Horshack, Mark could be Barbarino and really that's about as far as it goes. Carney could probably be the black guy.

I wish I could be Telly Savalas for Halloween.

They are playing, but we didn't book them. Freddy wanted a the show to last until 3am, so he booked them to go on after DND's set.

Also, the show is $7 in costume/$10 out of costume. We changed the price to be nice, but lots of the press folks didn't heed the update email and printed $10/$15 old cover charge.

Yes, we'll be there, with bells on.

Yadadada's taking a sabbatical from the board, and I've just been crazy busy.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to this show. I just can't seem to think of a creative costume, though. (GRRR)

The show was awesome. De Novo Dahl sounded absolutely great, and I adored the Tron costumes. I think it was my favorite DND show to date. Really, really good stuff.

I enjoyed the Halloween songs played by the first band (super model?), especially the Phantom theme. I wasn't crazy about New August, but they seemed like nice guys. Slack was tight. I missed out on For All the Drifters.

And as mentioned, DND had the sweetest band costumes ever.

i agree that zach was robbed, but i didn't feel like arguing with other band mates on stage who thought horse robot won, i think it was different from one side of the stage to the other. plus, the guy who won was a high schooler, and it was the first show he has been of age for. it meant a lot to him, and he said it was the best night of his life. consider it charity for an up & comer. all the costumes were great. it was a fun night, and i am glad it was a smaller group. nice and cuddly. baltimore was greaT for the international pop overthrow festival. we met some folk and what not.

He denied that he was supposed to be a stormtrooper. In fact, he's probably too young to know what a stormtrooper is. He also denied being a white version of MegaMan.

He was a nice guy and I'm glad he won, but I think we all knew who the real winner should have been. Me.

That's bullshit. He was obviously a stormtrooper and a bad dancer. I am a bad dancer too, but the difference between him and myself is that in such situations, I just don't dance. I still pick Zach's Drivers License.

To be honest, I noticed him as the lone bad dancer, because he seemed to think he was good and he was raising his arms (pet peeve). Besides, anything you do is cool in my book keith.

hey RD, lay off. he just turned 18. i have heard you talk about periods of your life that you now say " what was i thinking" about. it is living and learning. young people need mentors, not persecuters. and he definately looked just like a white megaman. he is a very cool kid, and one of my brother's best friends, and despite what kind of dancing he was doing, at least he was dancing , which is more than can be said about most of the nashville show goers. dancing is not about being good, it is about having fun. by the way RD, i love you.

Aha! Now we see why he won.

I thought a whole lot of people were dancing. It was great. Especially Rainbow Brite. She looked like she was on Ecstacy. Strawberry Shortcake was getting down, too. I wish Punky Brewster had shown up.

No, but she did drink 4 beers on an empty stomach. Normally that would kill a girl her size (approx. 65 pounds-- give or take), but I suppose she was empowered by the abilities of Rainbow Brite and stuff. I don't know-- I never watched that girly show. Okay, just once or twice.
