Me + Token, perhaps with Tom Foolery and some new converts in tow.

Does anyone know the order in which the bands will appear?

I will regretfully have to miss this one. I'm throwing a party for my recently graduated rommate.

The new song is completely different than anything they've ever done, to my knowledge. It is quite awesome. I almost feel like they could have done no wrong last night. I'm not sure if it's because they played after the Del Giovanni Clique, or what, but they had a shitload of people in the front (definitely not a result of the DGC), the number of in-between song lame comments were less than I have ever witnessed at one of their shows, Serai looked extra hott, they all dressed well, I heard only a couple of mistakes in the songs, Joey pounded the hell out of the drums...I could keep going, but something seemed to come together for them last night and I think things are definitely on the up-and-up for them. I think the true test will be the show at the Sutler. If they can have a few near flawless shows in a row, they might start getting some more of the local recognition they deserve. Anyway, excellent show last night.

I've only heard "Waiting For My Friends" but that song is absolutely amazing. Really, couldn't ask for anything better than that...what a great band. I'll definitely buy their EP ASAP.

I had never seen DGC, and I was expecting some funk. I actually enjoyed it...not enough to buy a CD or take a full set, but it was a nice change of pace.

I liked having a comedian between bands. I loved the Mick Jagger puppet.

I wasn't entirely into the show, but the band played really well. I had a great time overall. I'm glad that you're starting to post their setlists, JC, since this is their message board.

John Brassil took some great photos of the bands (and the ventriloquist) at the show.

There are alternate photos underneath each posted photo - just mouse over the pictures to see the hidden ones...

Barney is my favorite character in the Andy Griffith show. Where are you quoting him from? Is that from episode 94 (Mountain Wedding) where Barney is undercover and marries Earnest T. Bass? Whoop, there it is!!!

Carla's comedy seemed, I'm not sure what the word for it is, but I would say 'situational'. Sitting around talking to her, she had charisma and was funny, but some kinds of 'funny' don't translate well to stand-up.
