You all should come see De Novo Dahl this Friday at The End. 10 pm. I think there are some other bands playing, too.
I TOTALLY AGREE!

Keith, you are destined to rock. Never forget this.

Introduce yourself, JAD. Is it presumptuous to say that it'll be pretty obvious who I am?

You know that guy who was standing by Erin at the Character CD release show when y'all were talking outside? In the Slack shirt and BoSox cap?

I'll say hey, though.

Any hey, before that, come out and see Hail to the Peach perform the music for the musical Footloose at Hillwood right before. You'll get out with plenty of time to catch Verde.

Token and I will be easily recognized at the show as we will still be in costume....

By all accounts, I enjoyed the show. It would have however been better if my house's dog had not eaten all the halloween candy while I was at the show. This made me leave early to go home and see if it died, thus missing part of HttK's set. I liked what I heard before having to split. It should definitely happen again. The music part, not the dog eating chocolate part.

HTTK was surprisingly good. I guess it's hard to screw up with such a talented collection of dudes, but Keith's vocal and guitar skills seriously bowled me over. I would expect (and hope for) another show or two from these guys in the future.

De Novo Dahl played a great set full of "oldies". Not only did I not have to witness any repeat songs from last week's show, but I got to hear some stuff I've really been missing.

Verde was obviously rusty but still highly enjoyable (but only after the sound guy balanced out the lead and backing vocals). I really miss seeing this band more regularly when they were playing a lot and were really tight.

I found myself laughing at some points in HttK. It was funny to me to see Keith in the position of front man. But,--- he pulled it off perfectly. I loved the first three songs and 'Roxy'. Wowed by one of the first 3, actually.

And that girl on bass. She really can play.

I was genuinely impressed. The lyrics are good. The rock is good. It's all good.
