I saw this on MySpace and thought it was worth posting here. From our very own Holeypeacoat:

Thanks to Grimey and his interest in supporting good times out Different Class has now moved to The Basement! On Thursday, July 8th we'll be helping Mike and the gang celebrate the opening of the new and much improved Grimey's. The whole night kicks off at 6 PM with limited free beer and nibbly things. Then move downstairs to the Basement at 7 for a big screen viewing of Josh Rouse's new live DVD from the New Year's Eve Exit/In gig (crankin' through the club PA for that "you are there" effect.)

From 8 o'clock out [Muck] and I are gonna be DJing all the best indie/post-punk/britpop/electronica/garage rock until Grimey tells us to stop. If you haven't come out to see Grimey's or Different Class, this is the night!

WHAT: Grimey's Grand Opening Party and Different Class
WHEN: Thursday, July 8th. 8 PM, 21+ (doors, drinks and eats open at 6)
WHERE: Grimey's/The Basement
COVER: completely FREE

DISCLAIMER:
Different Class is a collective of people who decided there aren't any good places to listen or shimmy to good music. The majority of the music we play is indie/post-punk/britpop/electronic and garage rock. Our plight is simple: More good things to go out and do in Nashville.

Thanks all!

It's on 8th Avenue South (AKA Franklin Road) between Edgehill and Wedgewood. Driving north from Wedgewood, it's about a quarter of a mile on the right. Parking is limited in the front, but the rear lot can be accessed by taking the first right after you pass it and taking the first right on that street.
