I'd like to use this thread to find out what current heavy-radio play pop albums everyone is currently feeling. There's a few i'm interested in, but actually purchasing them is way too risky without getting the valued opinions of my trusted, newly-reunited fellow messageboard members first.

so, the new justin timberlake? has anyone brought sexy back yet? or just have thoughts on timbaland's huge muscles?

i'm going to wait to share my feelings on "b-day" until after i make sure this thread doesn't bomb (in which case i meant to say "pop sucks and i only listen to the kinks").

Okay, I never heard "SexyBack" until JT was on "Late Show" a week or so ago. It's pretty good. I don't like it near as much as "Rock Your Body," but it's passable.

Danity Kane's new album is getting somewhat okay reviews. In an odd way, I'm rooting for them.

I really really really hate Christina Aguilera's "Ain't No Other Man." I dunno, the horns on it just annoy the hell out of me; they scream "Destined For Karoke" to me. But her overall look is a vast improvement. I mean, I'm a big fan of reverse cleavage and all, but I like the 1940s Shore Leave Buddy look better.

I enjoyed Ludacris' new song he did the other night, but it seems that with his short hair cut and more serious attire, he's trying to be serious and credible. I like my Luda dirrty.

Fergie is on tomorrow and I may finally hear all of her song. It's amazing what not having cable does to my pop-knowledge. Fergie does, seriously, look disgusting.

the j.t. album sucks. havent heard b-day (although i do like the single). never really liked x-tina.

fergie looks like an alien from planet methwhore.

i am actually really feeling the hillary duff single ("play with fire"), even though her vocals are really stale, the song is awesome.

and i, of course, love "the black parade." if you dont know what im talking about you are really lame (haha, im laughing at myself while typing this).

well okay then. i really like "b-day." i think that both "ring the alarm" and "deja vu" are excellent songs, though way less dancefloor than the singles from the last album, which was a bit jarring. aside from those, my favorites are "suga mama," "kitty cat," and "upgrade u." the concepts for some of the rest of the jamz are a little too silly for me to get past ("freakum dress"). and that medley of random shit on the last track is ridiculous. i still haven't decided how it measures against "dangerously in love," but i know i like it.

i'm really fighting the urge to buy that danity kane album, but i don't know if i can hold off much longer.

does anyone remember that 90's failed girl group called wild orchid? fergie was totally in that shit. she's disgusting but songs that include nursery rhyme lyrics are always catchy.

i can't ever decide if i enjoy "sexyback" as a song or if i am partial to it because of the way my roommates and i changed the lyrics when our dog got her period and had to wear puppy pants. "i'm bringing diapeys back (woof)." c'mon, that's funny.

Fergie also did voices and sang on one of my favorite Peanuts cartoons, the timeless classic "Flashbeagle."
Bombo likes bananas. If he isn't a chimpanzee, he's in trouble.

"London Bridge" is the most innane bullshit I have ever been subjected to in my life. Grey Goose? Fuck off.

"SexyBack" is good, but I'm not quite sure why I believe this to be true.

I'm pretty indifferent about Beyonce, I'm sorry to say. She's never going to top "Crazy in Love," which only barely topped "Jumpin' Jumpin."

If you really care about pop music, call into your local Clear Channel affiliate and ask for "Lovelight" by Robbie Williams. It's now my personal mission to make his ass famous in America.
That's so NA.

All I can comment on is SexyBack, which I think is pretty amazing. The best part is the sample in the verse of the guy going "Yeah." Sometimes, I walk around my condo going "Yeah", much to my brother's annoynace.

Fergie used to be a crystal meth addict, right?
You know you have problems, with both money and alcohol, when you find yourself shoving beers down your pants outside a Features show.

i heard the new the danity kane record and i like it. most of the songs are about being at clubs, dancing, and hanging with diddy. basically, it's a record i can really relate to.

has anyone heard the new weird al record? he has a song called "white and nerdy" that parodies that "ridin' dirty" song. it's pretty funny. fans of "it's all about the pentiums" take note. lots of good geeky references.

I got the DVD for the music video in the free box at Letterman.

And I still don't know what ridin' dirty means...?
