Family Values Returns
Updated 13:27 PDT Wed, Apr 19 2006

After a five-year hiatus, Korn is bringing the Family Values Tour back for a 2006 edition featuring Deftones, Stone Sour, Flyleaf, and Dir En Grey.
The tour, headlined by Korn, is to hit amphitheatres in 30 cities, but only the opening date - July 27 in Virginia Beach, Va. - has been confirmed.
The traveling festival will feature a second stage for the first time, with acts to be announced shortly. Lawn seats will be available for $9.99 through a partnership between Korn and promoter Live Nation.
"Let's face it, ticket prices suck," Korn frontman Jonathan Davis said. "Kids shouldn't be shut out of concerts. We wanted to see if we could do something about it, and our new deal gives us the chance to give something back."
Cities on the tour will include Boston, Atlanta, Houston, Denver, Sacramento, Nashville and Toronto, with dates and venues TBA.
The Family Values Tour launched in 1998. The last edition, in 2001, featured Stone Temple Pilots, Linkin Park, and Staind. No official date/venue announced, but I would assume it will be at Starwood soon after they kickoff July 27th in VA Beach.

Man, I wish I still lived there...
