I found this in the Rage. I remember a lot of talk from Damon or Ray Davies about Buffy and thought maybe they would like to don a cape and attend. Of Course, not on the 31st.

NASHVILLE BUFFY VULKON. This year's Buffy the Vampire Slayer convention features a number of activities including Q&A, panels, video room, autograph sessions, costume contest, vendors room, auction, Friday Night Cocktail Party with live entertainment, Friday Night Costume Ball (dance), Saturday Night Banquet with the stars, Saturday Night Concert with Common Rotation, Saturday Night Karaoke Contest, Saturday Night Costume Dance, "Once More With Feeling" and "Chance" presentations, games with the games master, MC DIZ and more. Oct. 31-Nov.2

Sounds like a classy blast.

Or if You're a real nerd, you can be apart of this:

DE NOVO DAHL. De Novo Dahl kicks off their first Northeast mini-tour with a Halloween Costume Ball featuring themselves, Slack, New August and the glam/prog of Super/Model. The party includes prizes for the best costume, games and other assorted Halloween fun. 8 pm doors open, 9pm show, Fri., Oct. 31, $10 in costume, $15 out of costume, 18+, Blue Sky Court, 410 Fourth Ave. S., 242-6033, www.blueskycourt.com

I just found it in the Haunted Happenings part of the Rage. I'm not sure what's so haunted about the Blue Sky Court. Or De Novo Dahl. Or prizes and games.

I believe it may have been Digsy who did the Buffy talking. I've never really watched it, but it sounds like it would be up Digsy's alley.
We'll miss you Mr. Hooper.

Any reason why it's so steep? Is it so that foldsfan can score a phat Benz (or possibly a fat ho?)???
I can't grow a beard, and I don't like to party.

I'll speak on behalf of foldsfan and say that it's actually to support his crank habit, which is getting a bit out of hand lately. As for the hoes, they're always free when you know RichardD.

it's a couple good bands at the same show; if you look around town, most things going on that night are around twice that price for admission. and they (de novo dahl and slack) are worth it!

Rumor has it that Slack's out. If I'm gonna pay $15 now, Serai better be naked (sorry Joel).
I TOTALLY AGREE!

Keith, you are destined to rock. Never forget this.

Rumor has it Slack's back in!

Still, it wouldn't hurt for Serai to be naked.

Maybe she could dress up like that blue chick from the X-Men movies. I think that's a fair compromise.

Yes!!! And Joey could be Professor X, shave his head bald and play drums sitting in a wheelchair.

I'll leave the other four to everyone else. Enjoy...

I believe it may have been Digsy who did the Buffy talking. I've never really watched it, but it sounds like it would be up Digsy's alley.
if there is talk of buffy, then it was definitely digsy.

i have never watched the show
