TOPIC: Gigs of the year?

Apart from Features shows, what's been everyone's favourite gigs of the year so far?

My personal favourites were seeing Franz Ferdinand and The Rapture on the NME tour in January, and Mark Lanegan Band a couple of weeks ago, with Nick Oliveiri in support. Super Furry Animals and Gomez rocked too.

hmmm... a tricky one i think quite a good year for me being a bit older and more appreciative:
kings of leon with the features, in december loved it and i reckon, the blockheads in islington was a bit of a once in a lifetime thing, loved it, they did some of the oldies too like sex and drugs and rock and roll as well as 'the new album'.
2005 should be good! when are the features coming back to the uk? not soon enough!

OMG, did you record that show?

Is it true that he's as much of an asshole as everyone says he is?
Did he eat a live bat on stage?

He's performance was so quick I didn't even have time to set up the camera... let's put it this way. Lotsa blood, lotsa screaming.

He can be a bit difficult. But that's usually when he doesn't have a pair of breasts around.

It's the people in his inner circle he makes jump thru hoops like a travelling dog and pony show.
