Well, the show was pretty cool last night. I have never been to Lamar's in Chattanooga before even though I've lived here for 25 years(slacker-ass me) butI really liked it. You basically go through this labryinth of hallways, there are a couple of minibars you pass by and then you get to the main room. You could sit or stand from the back of the room all the way up until you are in the same breathing space with the band. Very cool. The Ponies played first. They were very mellow and slow and they played a great song about a pendell sweater. Next, the Paper Lions played. They were pretty loud and as my pals Sheileen and Josh said, "Paper Lions sound like a mix of Everclear and Foo Fighters." Good band. I am the World Trade Center sang a few songs with the Paper Lions and then performed more of a dance "party" concert than anything. They did a few mixes of songs by New Order. They had a very "Euro-feel" to them. Anyway, great show. The funniest thing though was that everyone in Lamar's tripped over this rug in the main walkway. And I mean everyone, even the members of the bands. They need to get rid of that damn rug. Sorry this is so long! See everyone at the Features show tomorrow in Nashville.
